What is considered ‘reasonably practicable’ can vary widely, depending on your circumstances and that of your trees. Whether you are responsible for a single tree or an entire tree population, engaging an experienced tree expert will ensure you discharge your obligation appropriately and without unnecessary cost.

Trees are a material consideration in the UK planning system, some may even be a material constraint to development. Local Planning Authorities (LPA) have a statutory duty to consider the protection and planting of trees when granting permission for proposed developments.
